Meet the new Conductor !

It's  official!

When Lydmet Lydney struck up the theme tune to the TV program 'Ground Force',  at the RHS Malvern Spring Show, presenter Alan Titchmarsh rushed out from enjoying a VIP lunch, tapped the conductor on the shoulder and took over the baton, to the rapturous applause of the large crowd. The tune has become his own 'signature tune', and the impromptu appearance delighted everyone.

The Band performed several times on each of the three days of the event for the third year running, and always attracts a large crowd and favourable comment, but with Britain's favourite TV gardener star Alan Titchmarsh in charge, the occasion scored a real hit.
