Also of possible interest......Fort William Advertisements from 1900 to the 1940 / 50’s , books old and new pertaining to the town , a selection of misc Images of the town , including an 1832 Print of Fort William , 1834 print of Ben Nevis and Inverlochy Castle , print of Queen Victoria's arrival in Fort William in 1847, 1860's engraving of the town and an 1888 sketch of the High Street. Albumen Prints , taken from glass negatives exposed at the completion of the West Highland Railway in the 1890’s can also be viewed. Latest addition......Early 1900's Images from Kinlochleven!!

A selection of old postcard images from  the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands mainly devoted to the town of Fort William but  including a selection from such areas as Mallaig , Morar , Arisaig , Glenfinnan , Corpach ,Caledonian Canal ,Roy Bridge , Spean Bridge , Banavie , Laggan , Inverlochy , Glen Nevis , Ben Nevis , Achintore , Onich , Ballachulish , Kinlochleven , Glencoe , Duror , Strontian ,Lochaline ,Acharachle ,Ardnamurachan in fact , from all over Lochaber and the collection is still growing!!
